Facilities

All sessions of the Institute for Digital Media and Composition (DMAC) will take place in Ohio State University's  Digital Union and the Digital Media Project.  These facilities-in two adjacent buildings in the center of the OSU campus-offer the very latest computer technology and plenty of knowledgeble staff members to support faculty projects.

The Digital Media Project, the English Department's digital media production studio, operates five instructional computer classrooms and maintains a pedagogy/research center dedicated to supporting work in digital media studies for faculty and graduate students.

The Digital Union supports the OSU community by facilitating access to new media technology for use in teaching, learning, research, and outreach. Its goals include exploring technology solutions, showcasing emerging technologies, and encouraging collaboration among diverse academic fields. The Digital Union offers an environment for low risk trial and error experiences with technology, leading to more informed decisions regarding its use in curriculum and research.
