LocationAll sessions for the Institute on Digital Media and Composition (DMAC) will be held on campus of The Ohio State University (mostly in Denney Hall) in Columbus from May 29-June 10, 2008. Some participants may find it convenient to rent or bring a car, and parking is available. A convenient bus service runs up and down High Street to the city center, restaurants, shops, and galleries. Columbus is a happening place in the heart of Ohio, and it boasts marvelous restaurants, outstanding art galleries, independent movie theaters, and great music. The Ohio State University campus is a large and lively Big Ten venue. You can enjoy the city's many bike paths, visit its numerous coffee houses, or browse nearby bookstores. DMAC participants can purchase day passes for Ohio State's new Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC) which includes state-of-the-art cardio and weight machines, squash and racquetball courts, an indoor jogging track, as aquatic facility with three pools, and a cafe. You can purchase a daily guest pass for $10/day or a 10-visit guest pass for $85 dollars. You can purchase the Guest Passes at the RPAC at any time the facility is open from 6:00 am to 1:00 am daily.
