The Research Project asked you to analyze and make claims about the ways in which primary sources—written visual, and audio texts—convey messages to a specific audience. You were asked to explore how the message is conveyed, to whom it is conveyed, and why this is important. 

The Visual Remix Project takes your work from The Research Project in a new direction by asking you to move from the analysis of a persuasive message, the act of closely reading texts and understanding details and patterns, to the production of a persuasive message, the act of making texts that strategically use details and patterns.  This project will help you better understand and appreciate the complexities of visual texts and the messages they convey. The Visual Remix is worth 20% of your final course grade.
